Air Canada Flights To Return To Saint Lucia
Air Canada has several flights worldwide, including the Air Canada Rouge. Saint Lucia and Air Canada announced the return of Air Canada Rouge to Saint Lucia for the fall and winter seasons. The flight will consist of a non-stop service leaving Toronto Pearson Airport and arriving at Hewanorra International Airport. The flights will happen weekly and resume on October 9, 2022.
The service will increase during November, with four flights per week. The flights leave Toronto on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday until December 9. After that, air Canada Rouge flights will occur five times a week during the peak of the holiday season until December 18. After that, air Canada Rouge will fly six times for the last holiday week until December 25.
After the holiday season, Air Canada Rouge will maintain five weekly flights until March 2023. Then, as the new season ramps up in April 2023, they will resume flying out six times per week. In addition, air Canada has other non-stop flights leaving from other airports and Toronto, just on different plans. In fact, there are 20 non-stop flight options between Toronto and Saint Lucia.
The Tourism Authority spokesperson stated they are happy to see Air Canada resume its Rouge services as it offers more options to Canadians who wish to escape the cold and find warmth on a beautiful Caribbean island. Canada is helping Saint Lucia’s growth, ensuring the island’s tourism continues.
At this time, there is no requirement for fully vaccinated individuals to have a pre-travel Covid test. As long as the vaccination documents are in order, travelers can arrive without extra work. For unvaccinated travelers, a covid test must be taken no more than five days before travel and show a negative result.
