Jet Blue and American Airlines Adding More Flights to Saint Lucia
Dominic Fedee, tourism minister for the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, said, “an important moment for tourism” is the new nonstop flights American Airlines and JetBlue have added to Saint Lucia. These flights will arrive on the island from several US locations, some of the top travel hubs. The flights will begin in Summer 2021.
Demand for travel to Saint Lucia is increasing with the pandemic under control. American Airlines will have flights arriving from Dallas begin on June 5. It is an inaugural flight with the number A321. The flight will leave Dallas at 8:40 am CST and land in Saint Lucia at 3:40 Eastern Caribbean time.
American Airlines flight will leave Hewanorra International Airport on Saturdays to return to Dallas. The flight leaves at 2:30 pm and arrives in Dallas at 7:22 pm. The flight will continue for the summer season until August 14, 2021. When the winter season begins, American Airlines will start again.
For people who want to fly south from New York, American Airlines and JetBlue will fly from John F. Kennedy International Airport. The nonstop flight will begin on June 5. It is set to depart at 8:05 am and arrive in Saint Lucia at 12:20 pm. A return flight will return the same day, starting at 1:20pm and landing at 5:43 pm.
JetBlue’s flights will take off from Newark on July 1. The flight will take off three times a week. These days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The flight will always leave at 8:40 am and arrive at 1:27 pm. The flight will then return from Saint Lucia beginning at 2:55 pm and arriving in Newark at 7:47 pm. JetBlue offers their Mint Service on specific Saturdays.
