Love To Golf – Book A Saint Lucia Holiday

Point Hardy Golf Club

Saint Lucia has a new golf course, which is set to open in December 2023. Point Hardy Golf Club uses the natural landscape around Cabot to provide a challenging course to visitors. The golf club is high on cliffs that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. The designers of the 18-hole course are Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, two of the best designers in the industry. The duo worked on Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Pebble Beach Golf Links, and Cypress Point. The courses are all part of the Cabot brand.

Each hole on this new golf course is on a ridge or offers ocean views. It was an easy task to create a course with dramatic views, but it was more about making sure the fun factor still exists. You want playability on any course, and yes, challenges will make it a world-class location that could attract tournaments of the best golfers, but it also needs to be a fun place for any golfer to come and test their skills, according to the designers.

Since the course is still in progress, some details must be ironed out. For example, will public access be granted to anyone who visits the island, or will membership be required? The course will primarily be private, but Cabot will allow for public access in the initial few months after opening to garner interest.

The course will charge a fee for anyone playing, and it should not be considered a low fee, especially for those without membership. Some of the other courses on the island may be less for visitors, but it is hard to get such a great course without making it seem exclusive. Until the course is completed, no one knows how it will rank against some of the best courses in the world.
